Amplify Business Podcast was created to be a medium to help grow and support small businesses. There is a lot of content created on the success of multi-billion dollar businesses and their founders, such as Elon Musk, Tim Cook, Jeff Bezos and Sir Richard Branson to name a few. But what worked for Amazon, Virgin, Apple or Tesla, might not work for small businesses. We want to hear the alternative script.
We wanted to create a platform for the ‘real world’ business owners running and scaling small businesses across the UK. Without ‘investor rounds’ using their own money and resources to start and scale a business. It is equally exciting and terrifying, all at the same time, we know very well, because we have been there.
Not for Profit
Amplify Business podcast was founded by Scott Clay as a not-for-profit business. This means the business doesn’t exist to generate profits for the shareholders, but instead all the profits are invested back into growing and scaling the business. We offer FREE and paid for broadcast options to small businesses as well as sponsorship. Your paid-for content helps us distribute your knowledge, wisdom and encouragement to thousands of other small business owners. Our long term goal is to replicate Amplify Business Podcast across all major UK, European and Global city’s.
About Scott: Scott has an honours degree in Business Administration with International Business from Manchester University, and an MBA from Manchester Business School. He started and scaled a number of businesses within the financial services industry and holds a number of industry qualifications. He also owns a number of property and media businesses.
